Biophysics is searching for, dealing of and teaching the forms of the connections between the inamite nature, the living world and the spiritual life, the applicability limits of their own laws in the other medium, heir common mutual interactions. The basic aim of biophysics as a borderland science is to discover conformity to the rules of the greatest philosophical problem that of "being and not being" and in order to reach it the only exact scientific weapon will be employed: the mathematics. Those pseudo-sciences, borderland sciences, inter-disciplines dealing with life will turn into exact only while they become axiomatic. The fundamental goal of my book: the biophysical modelling of the transport phenomena and of the cross-effect in the human organism. The transport phenomena mean the variation in time and space of generalized forces when they generate flows for which conservation laws apply. The most important characteristic of living matter is represented by the exchange of substances between organism and the environment. The adaptation of organism to the life conditions is realized mainly by the adaptation of metabolism. The environment is an indispensable condition of life, but it is also a continuous threat of the integrity of the living structural integrity. Processes where multiple forces act on the same flux at the same time are called coupled transport phenomenon. If only two gradients create fluxes in coupled transports, it is a cross-effect. In the human organism in the same time exits ten billion cross-effect. In this book, we have discussed these cross-effects, the mathematical relationships between them and examples of these taken from the living organism.
